Objectives for the STEM Ed Caucus in the 110th Congress

  • Advocate for continued investment in STEM education throughout our educational system and for professional training for our workers in these fields.
  • Forge links between the various areas of STEM education (K-12, higher education and workforce) to create a cohesive continuum of learning necessary to improve the overall quality of STEM education.
  • Assess the status of the nation's STEM education and the success of current efforts to improve STEM education including federal, state and local programs as well as business and non-governmental organizations’ initiatives.
